Frequently Asked Questions

  EVALUATIONS & CHALLENGES

What Is a Funded Trader Platform?

A funded trader platform lets traders prove their skills in a simulated trading environment. Traders who meet the requirements can receive a simulated funded account and become eligible for real-money payouts.

What challenges do you offer?

P1 Futures offers three account options:

• P1 Reserve: A one-step evaluation with a $109 activation fee after passing.

• P1 Elite: A one-step evaluation with no activation fee.

• P1 Instant: A direct-to-funded account with no evaluation or profit target.

What Account Sizes are available?

P1 Futures offers $25K, $50K, $100K, $150K, and $200K accounts.

What are the Profit Targets and MLL?

P1 Reserve and P1 Elite have a 6% profit target:

• $25K account: $1,500 target and $1,000 Maximum Loss Limit.
• $50K account: $3,000 target and $2,000 Maximum Loss Limit.
• $100K account: $6,000 target and $3,000 Maximum Loss Limit.
• $150K account: $9,000 target and $4,500 Maximum Loss Limit.
• $200K account: $12,000 target and $6,000 Maximum Loss Limit.

P1 Instant has no profit target. The Maximum Loss Limit trails upward based on the end-of-day account balance until it reaches the account’s original starting balance. It never moves above the starting balance or back down. There is no separate daily-loss limit.

Does P1 Futures use end-of-day trailing drawdown?

Yes. The Maximum Loss Limit moves upward based on the account’s highest end-of-day balance. It continues trailing until it reaches the account’s original starting balance, where it permanently locks.

For example, on a $50K account:

• Starting balance: $50,000 — MLL: $48,000
End-of-day balance: $51,000 — MLL: $49,000
End-of-day balance: $52,000 — MLL: $50,000
End-of-day balance: $53,000 — MLL remains capped at $50,000

At a $53,000 balance, the trader has a $3,000 buffer above the locked MLL.

Does my drawdown move up as my account grows?

Yes. It moves upward as the end-of-day account balance reaches new highs. Once the MLL reaches the account’s original starting balance, it stops moving and remains permanently locked there.

The MLL never moves downward, even if the account balance later decreases.

Is there a consistency rule?

Yes. P1 Reserve and P1 Elite evaluations have a 50% consistency rule. No single trading day may account for more than 50% of the total profit earned during the evaluation.

This rule applies only during the evaluation. It does not apply after the trader advances to a funded account.

Are there minimum trading day requirements?

Yes. P1 Reserve and P1 Elite require at least two profitable trading days because of the 50% consistency rule.

Additional trading days may be needed if one day represents more than 50% of the total evaluation profit.

Is there a time limit on the evaluation?

No. There is no time limit on the evaluation. You can take as long as you need to hit the profit target, provided you stay within the daily loss and maximum drawdown limits.

What happens if I fail the evaluation?

An evaluation fails if the account’s equity reaches or falls below its current Maximum Loss Limit.

Serious rule violations can also cause the account to be closed. Remaining profits are forfeited, and the purchase is not refundable.

Can I restart an evaluation after failing?

P1 Futures may offer a paid reset.

A reset returns the account to its original starting balance, initial Maximum Loss Limit, and assigned trading rules. Reset availability and pricing are shown when offered.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

How do I reset my password?

Select Forgot Password on the login page and follow the instructions sent to your email.

If you still need help, contact trade@p1futures.com.

Can I change my account size after purchasing?

No. The account size and rules are assigned at purchase. You must purchase another account if you want a different size.

What happens to my account if I go inactive?

An account may be closed after 30 consecutive calendar days without a trade.

P1 Futures will send a warning 5 days before closing the account and allow a reasonable opportunity to place a trade.

This inactivity rule does not apply while a payout request or compliance review is pending.

  FUNDED ACCOUNTS & PAYOUTS

How do I receive a funded account?

Reach the evaluation profit target, satisfy the 50% consistency rule, and stay within the Maximum Loss Limit and position limits.

You must also follow all trading rules, complete identity verification, pass the account review, and pay the $109 activation fee if you selected P1 Reserve.

P1 Instant begins directly at the simulated funded stage and does not require an evaluation.

How does the profit split work?

Approved profits are split 90% to the trader and 10% to P1 Futures. This applies from the first payout.

When can I request my first payout?

You can request a payout after five winning days on the same simulated funded account.

Each winning day must have at least $150 in net profit. The winning days do not need to be consecutive.

How much can I withdraw per payout?

You may request up to 50% of the account balance, subject to these maximums:

• $25K account: $1,500 maximum per request.
• $50K account: $5,000 maximum per request.
• $100K account: $5,000 maximum per request.
• $150K account: $5,000 maximum per request.
• $200K account: $5,000 maximum per request.

There is no minimum payout amount. At least five days must pass between payout requests on the same account.

How long does payout processing take?

After a payout is approved, P1 Futures will normally send it to the payout provider within 48 hours.

Verification and provider-onboarding time are not included. Final delivery time depends on the payout method and receiving institution.

Do I need to verify my identity to receive a payout?

Yes. KYC Identity verification is required before a payout can be processed.

You may be asked for identification, proof of address, tax documents, and proof that the payment and payout accounts belong to you.

Is there a consistency rule on the funded account?

No. The consistency rule applies only to P1 Reserve and P1 Elite evaluations.

P1 Reserve funded accounts, P1 Elite funded accounts, and P1 Instant accounts do not have a consistency rule.

What is the P1 Instant challenge profit split?

P1 Instant uses the same 90/10 profit split.

The trader receives 90% of approved profits, and P1 Futures retains 10%.

What payment methods do you accept for payouts?

We are currently working with a few different providers which allow us to do Bank transfer, ACH, Rise, crypto, etc.

Can I receive a payout in cryptocurrency?

Yes, we have the option to do payouts in crypto as long as they’re $2,500 or more.

Are payouts taxable?

Yes. Any payout you receive from P1 Futures may be subject to income tax in your jurisdiction.

P1 Futures does not provide tax advice. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed on payouts received.

We recommend consulting a qualified tax professional in your country.

What happens to my drawdown limit after I take a payout?

The Maximum Loss Limit does not reset or move down after a payout. It stays at its current level while the payout reduces the account balance.

For example, if the balance is $53,000 and the MLL is locked at $50,000, the trader has a $3,000 buffer. A payout will reduce that balance and the available buffer, but the MLL will remain at $50,000.

Does my funded account reset after a payout?

No. The account remains active with its reduced balance.

Its Maximum Loss Limit does not reset or move downward, and all other assigned trading rules remain in effect.

Is there a maximum lifetime payout limit?

No lifetime or monthly payout limit applies.

However, every payout request must follow the 50% balance limit, the account’s per-request cap, the waiting period, and all payout requirements.

  TRADING RULES & RESTRICTIONS

Can I use EA's, Bots, or Automated systems?

No. Automated trading is prohibited.

A bot, script, AI system, algorithm, or other tool cannot independently select, place, change, or close trades.

Can I use a copy trading service?

Yes, but only to copy your own manually placed trades between P1 Futures accounts that you personally own and control.

Copying trades to or from another person is prohibited. Every copied account must independently follow its Maximum Loss Limit, position limit, and other rules.

Can I hold positions overnight or over the weekend?

Overnight trading is allowed.

Weekend holding is allowed only for supported instruments that continue trading through the weekend, such as certain CME cryptocurrency futures.

Positions in instruments that close for the weekend must be closed before the applicable market or platform session ends.

What instruments can I trade?

You may trade futures listed on CME, CBOT, NYMEX, and COMEX when they are enabled on the P1 Futures platform.

What are the trading hours?

The official P1 Futures trading day runs from 5:00 p.m. Central Time to 4:00 p.m. Central Time the following day.

Exchange maintenance periods, holidays, early closes, and product-specific closures still apply.

What happens if I violate a rule?

The action depends on the violation.

P1 Futures may issue a warning, adjust trades or profits, remove winning days, hold or deny a payout, suspend the account, close the account, or permanently terminate access.

A Maximum Loss Limit breach closes the affected account automatically.

Can I have multiple accounts?

Yes. You may have only one verified P1 Futures identity, but you may hold up to five active funded accounts.

The same five-account limit applies to the entire household.

Is news trading allowed?

Yes. News trading is allowed.

Normal loss limits, position limits, and prohibited-conduct rules still apply, even during high volatility.
