Frequently Asked Questions

  EVALUATIONS & CHALLENGES

What Is a Funded Trader Platform?

Most traders have the skill to make money in the markets — they just don't have the capital to make it meaningful. A funded trader platform solves that problem.

Here's how it works: instead of risking your own money in the live markets, you prove your trading ability through a structured evaluation. If you pass, you get access to a funded trading account — loaded with simulated capital — and you keep the majority of the profits you generate. No personal risk. No need for a large bankroll. Just your trading skills.

P1 Futures is a funded futures trading evaluation platform. We give traders of all experience levels the opportunity to prove themselves, get funded, and get paid.

What challenges do you offer?

P1 Futures offers three challenge types. The Standard Challenge is a single-phase evaluation where you trade to hit a profit target before receiving a funded account. The No Activation Challenge is the same structure but with no activation fee — you only pay the subscription fee. The Direct to Funded challenge skips the evaluation phase entirely and places you straight into a funded account.

What account sizes are available?

Account sizes start at $25,000 and go up to $200,000 across all challenge types. Available sizes are $25K, $50K, $100K, $150K, and $200K.

What are the profit targets and drawdown rules?

For the Standard and No Activation challenges, the profit target is 6% of your starting balance. Your maximum drawdown is 4%. Drawdown is calculated on an end-of-day trailing basis — meaning your maximum drawdown floor moves up as your account grows, locking in your gains.

For the funded account, your maximum drawdown is 3%.

What is end-of-day trailing drawdown?

End-of-day trailing drawdown means your maximum drawdown limit is recalculated at the end of each trading day based on your highest closing balance. As your account grows, your floor moves up with it. For example, if you start with a $100K account and grow it to $106K, your drawdown floor moves up accordingly — protecting your gains while giving you room to trade.

Does my drawdown floor move up as my account grows?

Yes. P1 Futures uses end-of-day trailing drawdown. Your maximum loss limit (MLL) moves up as your account balance grows — but it is capped at your starting account balance.

Here is how it works on a $50K account:
     - Start at $50,000 → MLL is $48,000
     - Grow to $51,000 → MLL moves up to $49,000
     - Grow to $52,000 → MLL moves up to $50,000
     - Grow to $55,000 → MLL stays capped at $50,000

Once your MLL reaches your starting balance it does not move further. From that point forward your full starting balance is protected and you are essentially trading with house money on everything above it.

Is there a consistency rule?

Yes. A 50% consistency rule applies during the evaluation phase. This means no single trading day can account for more than 50% of your total profits. The rule is designed to ensure you demonstrate consistent trading rather than relying on one large winning day.

Are there minimum trading day requirements?

Yes. The Standard Challenge requires a minimum of 4 trading days to complete the evaluation. This ensures you demonstrate performance over multiple sessions, not just a single lucky trade.

Is there a time limit on the evaluation?

No. There is no time limit on the evaluation. You can take as long as you need to hit the profit target, provided you stay within the daily loss and maximum drawdown limits.

What happens if I fail the evaluation?

If you breach the daily loss limit or maximum drawdown during the evaluation, your challenge is failed and closed. You can purchase a reset or buy a new evaluation at any time to try again. There are no refunds on failed evaluations — see our Refund Policy for full details.

Can I retake the evaluation if I fail?

Yes. You can purchase a reset fee to restart your evaluation on the same account, or purchase a new evaluation at any time. Reset pricing is listed on the platform at checkout.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

How do I reset my password?

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and follow the instructions sent to your registered email address. If you have trouble accessing your account, contact us at trade@p1futures.com.

Can I change my account size after purchasing?

No. Account size is set at the time of purchase and cannot be changed mid-evaluation. If you want a different account size, you will need to purchase a new evaluation.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. P1 Futures operates on a monthly recurring subscription model. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us at trade@p1futures.com

Cancellation stops future billing immediately. However, no refunds are issued for the current billing period or any previous payments whether your account is active, blown, or unused. Your account access continues until the end of the current paid period, after which it will not renew.

What happens to my account if I go inactive?

We currently do not have an inactivity policy where the account automatically closes after X amount of days, with that being said the account would still get resetted after every reset cycle until it’s passed which then the subscription cancels by itself.

  FUNDED ACCOUNTS & PAYOUTS

How do I get a funded account?

Complete your chosen evaluation challenge by hitting the profit target while staying within the daily loss and drawdown limits, trading for at least the minimum number of required days, and satisfying the consistency rule. Once you pass, your account is moved to funded status and you can begin requesting payouts.

How does the profit split work?

P1 Futures uses a 90/10 profit split. You keep 90% of all profits generated in your funded account. P1 Futures retains 10%. This applies to all funded account sizes across all challenge types, with the exception of the Direct to Funded challenge which carries a 25% profit split at the challenge level.

When can I request my first payout?

You can request your first payout after a minimum of 5 trading days in your funded account. After that, payouts can be requested every 5 calendar days.

How much can I withdraw per payout?

The maximum payout per withdrawal request is $5,000. If your profits exceed $5,000, you can request multiple payouts over time as they become available.

How long does payout processing take?

Approved payouts are generally processed within 7 business days of approval. Processing time may vary depending on your payment method and any identity verification requirements.

Do I need to verify my identity to receive a payout?

Yes. Before your first payout is processed, you will be required to complete identity verification. P1 Futures may request a government-issued ID and proof of address. This is standard practice across all funded trader platforms and is required for compliance purposes.

Is there a consistency rule on the funded account?

Yes. The same 50% consistency rule applies on the funded account. No single trading day can account for more than 50% of your total profits when requesting a payout.

What is the Direct to Funded challenge profit split?

The Direct to Funded profit split is the same as other accounts “90%” BUT there is a 25% consistency rule that must be applied to reach a payout.

What payment methods do you accept for payouts?

We are currently working with a few different providers which allow us to do Bank transfer, ACH, Rise, crypto, etc.

Can I withdraw to crypto?

Yes, we have the option to do payouts in crypto as long as they’re $2,500 or more.

Are payouts taxable?

Yes. Any payout you receive from P1 Futures may be subject to income tax in your jurisdiction. P1 Futures does not provide tax advice. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed on payouts received. We recommend consulting a qualified tax professional in your country.

What happens to my drawdown limit after I take a payout?

Your MLL never resets or moves down — including after a payout. Once your floor has moved up to its cap it stays there regardless of withdrawals. For example, if your balance is $52,000 and your MLL is capped at $50,000, and you withdraw $1,000 bringing your balance to $51,000, your MLL remains at $50,000. Payouts do not affect your drawdown protection.

What happens to my funded account after I request a payout, does it reset?

Your funded account does not reset after a payout. Your balance continues from where it is. Only a rule violation, breaching the daily loss limit or maximum drawdown will result in account closure.

Is there a maximum total payout cap?

There is no cap on total lifetime payouts. The maximum per individual withdrawal request is $5,000. You can continue requesting payouts every 5 calendar days as long as your account remains in good standing.
